cercle artistic de st lluc
a very special place in town, this private artist club was founded in 1893. members over the years have included antonio gaudí and miró. I've visited the club to sketch models at least once a week.
hosted in the mercader palace (XVIº century), the club offers special artistic workshops.
the lounge is the quietest place to enjoy a drink in the centre of barcelona.

pendant que je gambade entre londres, paris, la bretagne et saint-émilion, je vous ai sélectionné quelques pages de modèle vivant réalisées au cercle artistique de sant lluc à barcelone, où je tente d'aller me défouler une fois par semaine.

meeting veronica lawlor
veronica lawlor, illustrator and urban sketcher correspondent from new york was visiting barcelona this last week.
we sketched together on the most famous street of the city: passeig de gracia.
it was the oportunity for me to watch veronica creating her wonderful composition, mixing ink, pastel, colour pen…
we also spent a morning at the "circulo artistico de sant lluc", one of the oldest artistic place in town, where gaudi or miro were members.
here are veronica and her boyfriend neil sketching miguel, a kind of tribe king from the past…
during the cession, veronica did that sketch of daniel, cesar and me:
I enjoyed her visit, and I'm glad to meet her again in 2 weeks at the portland urban sketching symposium. see you there!

j'ai repris aujourd'hui les séances de modèle vivant, ça faisait bien 6 ans. et ça se voit, va falloir pratiquer maintenant…
