last week,
sagar and I went sketching on some roofs of the gothic district. I love how changing the point of view change the perception of the city,
and it's funny to discover that there are some life up there, people
smoking on some terrace, workers building stuff, the smell from
restaurants kitchen, birds and lots of plants… but it's so peaceful compare to the crowded streets.
I had no time to paint it in situ, so I just tried this on photoshop once back…

parked on aragó street in barcelona.

I was interviewed for the german television "ARD" for a program called "
so tickt europa" about my vision of barcelona (in the first minutes).
here is the drawing I did during the interview, in front of the "palau de la musica":

vielen dank joana und mathias!
a big drawing (54x74cm) commissioned by roca for their meeting room in barcelona, and inspired by the brand sketchbook "roca by lapin" I did for them last year.

see you tomorrow night from 19h to 22h at "

during my last visit in paris, I had the chance to assist to the repetition of the national dance school of paris opera, on stage with the orchestra.
I was surprised how the wonderful chagall's painting of the cupola interact with the dancers.
but I get a hard time trying to catch the grace of the young students…
one of my favourite place on earth: the "galerie d'anatomies comparées et de paléontologie" of the natural history museum of paris.
