barcelona-mitte-barcelona exhibition

mitte barcelona gallery celebrates it's 3rd anniversary with a tribute to the city where we live in. I was invited by them among 7 artists to dedicate an exhibition to my beloved barcelona.
my inspiration was the tiles of passeig de gracia by gaudi and through them an interpretation of the iconic symbols of barcelona.
I will display my  drawings and my "barcelona m'inspira" book will be on sale.

the opening is on the 5th of june, thursday at 19h-22h!

I will participate to a 5 days workshop in ansó in the spanish pyrenees this summer, from the 7th to the 11th of july, organised by the university of aragon.
I will talk and teach about portraits and perspective, and share my process with you.

barcelona from above

last week, sagar and I went sketching on some roofs of the gothic district. I love how changing the point of view change the perception of the city, and it's funny to discover that there are some life up there, people smoking on some terrace, workers building stuff, the smell from restaurants kitchen, birds and lots of plants… but it's so peaceful compare to the crowded streets.
I had no time to paint it in situ, so I just tried this on photoshop once back…
