auguste rodin

some sketches from the exhibition "la saisie du modèle" in the rodin museum in paris. I'm amazed by his watercolours, his line, and the poesy of his drawings.

arabesque: his watercolours and his sculpture are so different, both are excellent, but he said from his watercolours that it was his masterpiece…

J'y suis passée il y a 2 semaines et j'ai été saisie par tout cet aspect recherche et expérimental que tu ne ressens pas devant les sculptures... Et les descriptions m'ont bien fait rire ;)
