I was an instructor at the 8th urban sketchers symposium in chicago last week.
my workshop "grooarrr! having fun with "sue" the T-rex" at the field museum was a blast, and I'm so happy with participant's sketches.
special thanks to the field museum of natural history and peggy macnamara, artist in residence at the museum, who made this workshop possible.

I'm on my way to the 8th international urban sketchers symposium in chicago.
I will teach how to sketch dinosaurs at the field museum, that host "sue": the largest, most complete, best preserved T.rex ever discovered. what a feast!

I'm preparing my workshop "grooarrr!" for the urban sketching symposium in chicago on july. that's why I stopped by the natural history museum of paris (my favorite place in town) to spend the afternoon working on some new compositions…

venezia

I can't get enough of venezia, and the past week there was too short.
here is what I manage to sketch around, waking up at 6:00 to get the piazza san marco for me alone and getting lost in its labyrinth of streets and canals.
